At Coach Mo Baseball, our mission is to develop well-rounded athletes who excel on the field and grow as individuals off it. We believe in a structured, fundamentals-first approach that prepares players not only for the next level of baseball, but for life beyond the game. Through elite coaching, competitive opportunities, and a team-first culture, we aim to instill discipline, leadership, and confidence in every single athlete.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Coach Mario Lugones — Director & Head Coach
With over two decades of coaching experience across youth, high school, and collegiate levels, Coach Mario Lugones leads Coach Mo Baseball and the Paladin Prospect team with a deep commitment to player development, structure, and mentorship. His background includes being the head coach at Paramus Catholic High School, Don Bosco Prep, and national-level travel programs — giving him the tools to prepare athletes for both the physical and mental demands of competitive baseball.
Mario brings not only technical knowledge, but also a strong emphasis on character, accountability, and respect for the game. Under his leadership, Paladin players benefit from a program that prioritizes fundamentals, discipline, and long-term growth.

At Coach Mo Baseball, coaching goes far beyond skills and statistics. Our philosophy centers on teaching the game the right way — through structure, discipline, and respect. We believe in holding players to high standards while providing the tools and guidance to help them meet those standards both on and off the field.
Every athlete is coached with intention, with a focus on long-term growth, mental toughness, and being a great teammate. The goal isn’t just to develop better baseball players — it’s to shape confident, accountable young men prepared for whatever path they pursue.
